We had the pleasure of shooting Courtney and Ryan's engagement session up in SF last fall. It was a typical foggy day in SF but we loved it for the photos. The light is just beautifully diffused. Unfortunately we won't be shooting these love birds wedding since they are so so so in love they decided they couldn't wait another 8months for the wedding, so they ran off and eloped! How romantic, right? We wish them all the best in life and love and enjoyed being part of this little snippet of their journey. Cameras used: Canon 5D MkII, Hasselblad H2 (film), Yashica 124G (film). Film used: Kodak Portra 400,800, Ilford Delta 3200
Here is the third engagement shoot we did last month up in the bay area. This one started at the Bay Bridge and ended at the Golden Gate bridge. We thought using the more iconic SF back drops would work well for Sarah and Jacob since this was both of their first trip to the bay area. We are super excited to shoot their wedding in Michigan this fall and hope Jacob might bring out his skateboard for some shots in their wedding getup too. :)
Here is the second session we did the weekend we went up to the bay area. We loved this one as well and was so sweet with the rain and the cafe stop. The last shot is our favorite.
This was the first of three engagement sessions we did last month in San Francisco, the other two to follow soon behind this one. We are sooo looking forward to Gabby and Nick's wedding in Chicago in June!!!
As we start to catch up from all the whoas of life...we will have a ton of posts for you! We will be shooting this lovely couple's wedding next weekend in the Bay Area and we are so excited. It will be a marvelous black tie affaire and we will get to feel the cool fresh breeze of SF on our faces. Can't wait! I (courtney) also made this kite! It was spur of the moment and I think it turned out great. Although not sure if it will fly as there was nooo wind, but looked quite cute with them holding it! No, they aren't models but they sure do look like it! :) Make sure you scroll to the end to see the little furry friend that sat down beside them.
A lovely night shot by Erin! So True blood (actually I don't know, I don't watch the show....yet)
